Wings on the Way Down is a blend of pop, rock, jazz and orchestral music that documents a turbulent period of therapy, isolation and self discovery. The album is very jazzy with great piano playing, for someone who has been playing for 5 years A.M. Sokoll is a very skilled pianist. The background music for each track works really well with the main piano/keyboard parts. The lyrics are relatable especially for anyone that is struggling during this pandemic, it has been a very difficult time for everyone especially on people’s mental health. The lyrics of each song on Wings on the Way Down talks about struggles that A.M. Sokoll went through, making the music more powerful.
